Hi, nice to meet you…

Claribel Tejeda is a Dominican-American cinematographer and photographer based in the Bronx, New York. With a master’s degree in cinematography and over a decade of experience, her work has been featured in numerous international film festivals. Growing up as a first-generation immigrant, Claribel was immersed in a rich tapestry of global art—thanks to her mother's love for telenovelas from Turkey to Brazil and B-horror films, and her father's passion for science fiction classics like Star Trek and Doctor Who. Her exposure to diverse cinematic influences, from late-night IFC films to local indie theaters, has shaped her unique artistic vision. Claribel has had the privilege of working with many talented and kind individuals throughout her career.
